Outpatient Clinic Relocation

The Duke Center for Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery is undergoing exciting new changes to provide exceptional services and care for patients. In November 2008, the program's outpatient clinic relocated to an expanded, state-of-the-art facility, located at Durham Regional Hospital's Health Services Center.

Seminars are resuming in January 2009, and will be held at the new clinic location (407 Crutchfield Street). To register for a seminar, call 1-866-637-0711. Thank you for your patience.

Additionally, Durham Regional has updated its operating rooms and added six bariatric inpatient suites, designed to meet the needs of weight loss surgery patients.


Clinical Facility:

The Weight Loss Surgery Clinic is currently located in Durham Regional Hospital's Health Services Center, a recently renovated space at 407 Crutchfield Street, adjacent to Durham Regional Hospital, and 3 blocks south of our previous location. An entire section of this building is dedicated to your care.

There is ample free parking just outside the building. In addition to a properly appointed waiting room, the clinic has specially equipped examination rooms, restrooms, and a procedure room. A large conference room for group sessions is also on the premises.
