New Student Checklist

To make a smooth transition to the University, there are a number of steps you will need to complete before attending Orientation. Please review the list below for all your requirements:

Know your UIN
Apply for financial aid
Activate your Midas account and email address
Register for orientation/PREVIEW
Apply for on-campus housing and pay the housing deposit
Obtain your student ID card
Select a meal plan
Complete the in-state tuition application
Send final high school transcripts to the Office of Admissions
Pay the freshman deposit
Apply to Honors College (if qualified)
Register with Disability Services (if appropriate)
Register with ISSS (if required)
Purchase a parking decal
Send health records to Student Health Services
Know the tuition payment plan deadlines
